The AV76 is the rear tyre in Avon's Spirit ST sport-touring range, developed and made in the UK. It uses a multi-compound construction to balance long tread life on motorway miles with grip when the bike is cranked over, plus a high-silica compound and race-wet-style tread with 3D sipes for confident wet-weather performance. Testers found it warms up quickly, steers lightly and stays composed under braking and acceleration across a wide spread of naked, retro, sports-touring and larger road bikes.
