The Uniroyal RainMax 3 is made for vans and light commercial vehicles, with wide grooves that clear water quickly to guard against aquaplaning and shorten stopping distances in the wet. Launched in 2018 to replace the RainMax 2, it also grips and brakes well on dry roads. A reworked tread pattern lowers rolling resistance to help fuel economy and extend tread life, and it holds up well when the vehicle is carrying a load.
