The Angel GT rear is Pirelli's sport-touring tyre, developed from the earlier Angel ST to cover longer distances while keeping a sporty character. It uses a dual-compound layout, with a harder centre section for even wear and mileage and softer shoulders for grip when cranked over. A revised rear groove pattern channels water away for confident wet riding, and the neutral profile gives predictable, planted handling through corners. A reinforced carcass version suits heavier machines and two-up, fully loaded touring.
