The U-AP 002 is Bridgestone's flagship urban bus tyre, engineered for the stop-and-start demands of city routes and suited to diesel, hybrid and electric powertrains. Its low rolling resistance helps cut fuel use and emissions, while a high-silica compound and closed pattern design extend wear life and reduce running costs. A reinforced sidewall guards the casing against kerb damage, and the strong casing supports retreading for multiple lives. An increased load capacity makes it well matched to heavier battery-electric fleets.
