BFGoodrich is a long-established American tyre brand, founded in Akron, Ohio in 1870 and owned by Michelin since around 1990. The All-Terrain T/A KO2 is BFGoodrich's tough on- and off-road tyre for 4x4s, pickups and SUVs. Its CoreGard sidewall construction, derived from the Baja KR2 race tyre, uses thicker rubber and a deflection design to resist splitting and bruising over rocks and rough ground. Side biter lugs and mud-phobic bars help it dig into mud, gravel and loose surfaces, while a hard-wearing tread compound is built to cope well with gravel and stay predictable on the road.
