The D402 rear is a long-mileage touring tyre developed with Harley-Davidson and fitted as original equipment on many of its touring machines. A three-ply polyester carcass with two fibreglass belts gives it the load capacity and stability heavier V-twins need when fully loaded. The computer-shaped tread has an offset centre groove that steadies the bike over rain grooves and steel-grated bridges while helping to curb cupping for more even wear. It is offered with black or whitewall sidewalls carrying Harley-Davidson branding.
